Card File Maintenance
MAP offers several flexible options for maintaining your cardholder file on the Visa DPS system, including the following methods:
Card and Account Maintenance—Your institution may add or delete cardholder records using the browser-based Card and Account Maintenance application available within our CATS system.
Administrative terminal—Your institution may add or delete cardholder records from an administrative terminal at your institution.
Online host maintenance—Using the ISO 8583 Processor Interface, your host system can automatically generate file maintenance transactions whenever updates are made to your institution's internal customer files.
Batch file—Your host system may transmit adds, deletes, and updates to our processor. This may be done once or multiple times per day.
Balance Refresh file—This file includes cardholder account balance information. The host may transmit the file multiple times per day.
